Lisa Weinbaum, R.D.
is a registered dietitian and nutrition consultant. Specializing in weight management, cardiac and diabetic care, and eating disorders, Lisa combines traditional nutrition therapy with behavioral change techniques to assist clients in moving away from a life of dieting to a life of mindful eating. Lisa's counseling approach focuses on creating a balanced meal plan with a healthy lifestyle.
Prior to establishing her private practice, Lisa served as staff dietitian at Sinai Hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. She has also worked with William Beaumont Hospital and the University of Michigan Medical Center. Lisa has been a contributing dietitian on Fox News and has been featured in Hour Detroit magazine and the Jewish News.
Lisa offers interactive group workshops for corporate clients, provides specialized nutrition counseling for children, and has developed a workshop for girls between the ages of 9 and 11, using Vanderbilt University's Girl Force Program.
Lisa is currently the staff dietitian and nutrition consultant at Townsend Street Pilates. She has a degree in Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University and a Communications degree from the University of Michigan.
